True Poker Launches PLO Edition of The Cage

Poker Rakeback
Friday, 21 November 2014 14:37

True Poker the Cage PLOThe Cage at True Poker enjoys a great deal of popularity, owing to which True Poker has launched a Pot Limit Omaha (PLO) version of it. Texas Hold’em players are no longer a privileged lot at True Poker as Omaha players now have The Cage PLO.

The Cage Features
The Cage is a cash game designed along the lines of a multi-table tournament and lasting for four hours. At the end of four hours, the game comes to an end irrespective of the number of players left standing. The cash game features six-max tables and a starting stack with 5,000 chips. When the four hours are up, the chip stacks of surviving players are converted into real money and credited to their accounts. Players can then withdraw their winnings through free bank wire.

The first high-stakes Cage PLO game will be played at 8:00 p.m. EST on November 26. Designed like a multi-table poker tournament, this cash game will have a buy-in of $5,000+$100. The blinds increase every one hour 20 minutes, and at the end of four hours, surviving players will win big money.

How It Works
Players can either buy-in directly to The Cage or qualify for it through satellites with buy-ins as low as $1.65. Every participant will get a starting stack with 5,000 chips and is required to play for three levels, each of which lasts an hour and 20 minutes. Level One has $10/$20 blinds, Level Two has $25/$50 blinds, and Level Three has $50/$100 blinds. Each chip is worth real money, which means that each chip is worth $1. For example, if a participant has 1000 chips left in his/her stack at the end of four hours, $1000 will be credited to his/her account.

Win a Seat for Just $1.65
Players who feel that the $5000 buy-in to The Cage PLO is too much can win a seat by taking part in a $1.65 buy-in satellite, which will be held on November 26, at 8:00 p.m. EST. Players who win an entry to The Cage PLO must note that their tickets have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for real money. The entries cannot be transferred to another player either. Players also cannot unregister from The Cage PLO once they have won an entry into it.
Players who have won a satellite after buying into the Cage PLO will get a refund so that they can use their free entry.
